Instructor Mary Jo May offers beginner and intermediate crochet classes on alternating Tuesdays at Firestorm!

What you'll learn in this beginner class:

• ​How to read a simple crochet pattern
• How to attach your yarn to your hook with a slip knot
• Handling of crochet hook
• How to make a beginning chain
• Single crochet

The suggested donation is $30 per class, though you will never be turned away due to lack of funds. Crochet is for everyone! 50% of class fees will be donated to Lamplight Avl to support local artists impacted by Hurricane Helene.
