Erin Darling is an illustrator in watercolor and ink from Tacoma, WA. The Affectionate Animal Series illustrates vintage photographs of real people. Many of the couples featured are queer people from history. The artwork for this card is based on a vintage photograph by David Deitcher, from his book “Dear Friends, American Photographs of Men, 1840–1918.”
