It’s time for our 3rd Black Mama’s Bail Out Action! Since May of 2017, Southerners On New Ground (SONG) members have bailed out over 100 Black mothers and caregivers, broadly defined, to reconnect them with their families for Mother’s Day. We understand Black Mama’s Bail Out Action to be a tactic to confront the malicious system of money bail, make tangible interventions in the lives across of black mamas the South, and build local End Money Bail campaigns.
