Ayurveda through the Seasons

Our bodies, inseparable from nature, shift in harmony with each season. When we tune into how we can transition with nature, from adjusting our diet and herbs to shifting out lifestyle habits, we create a foundation of balance and well-being for ourselves. As the warm weather fades through Autumn and into early winter, we are invited to root down, warm up, and nourish ourselves deeply.
Weaving together the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda with the local ecosystem here in Asheville, participants will discuss grounded and accessible ways to tend to ourselves throughout the seasons. They will focus on simple concepts, like the elements, and use them as templates for navigating health and happiness.
Topics of discussion include:
- basic Ayurveda theory & how the elements manifest in both our bodies & the seasons
- identifying your unique needs
- seasonal local foods/herbs to nourish our bodies
- simple recipes to take home- & ways to adjust existing favorites!
- pathways & rituals of connection to yourself & nature
