Angry Brigade Film Night
A public film screening of Gordon Carr's 1973 BBC documentary The Angry Brigade: The Spectacular Rise and Fall of Britain's First Urban Guerilla Group including the 1980 follow up The Persons Unknown.
The Angry Brigade was a radical revolutionary group active in England from 1968-1972, born out of opposition to U.S involvement in the Vietnam War. The documentary is 75 minutes long, and after viewing there will be space for an open discussion amongst the viewers about the philosophy, tactics and effectiveness of resistance included in the documentary.
