This two part class is intended to help people begin to equip themselves to be a group 1st aider in protest situations, aka "affinity group medic." Attending only one part is fine!

Contents:

• Working in buddy pairs and 'affinity groups'-PEARL & confidentiality
• Situational Awareness/scene assessment
• When to call 911
• First Aid skills: As many as we can cover in this order - bleed control, burns, soft & hard splinting, patient move assists, head trauma, difficulty breathing, psych problems. Each skill involves demo & student practice.
