First Saturday is a monthly meetup that gathers on the first Saturday of every month. From the organizers:

"We are a community resource for education and information on various important environmental/social/political causes, and connect people to direct action on both the small and large scale, often aiding community efforts already under way. We are a safe space to learn, connect, and converse on all things related to activism for beginners to the experienced."
