Transcendance

Meditation for Queer/Trans Community

Every fourth Thursday from January 2016 until March 2016

From the organizers:

Safe space for queer and trans people is important for a healthy vibrant united community! One of the most important safe spaces for a queer/trans person is their internal Self. The benefits of a queer/trans meditation is that when we collectively focus our energy on being in a present, loving space with ourselves, we are able to attract that to our community. Meditation as part of a queer/trans community can also help individuals with trauma or pain regarding gender or sexuality, the tools to process those thoughts, memories, and the collective space to talk about those things together.

Transcendance was started in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and continues to take place every other Thursday at 7pm. Transcendance Asheville will make the second chapter of this group. That means we will be joining other queer/trans people in meditation, strengthening our collective unconscious work towards an empowered joyful existence for queer/trans people around the world!
