Every first and third Tuesday from October 2015 until September 2016

The Asheville Figure Drawing Network hosts a non-instructed, drop-in drawing session with a live model. The fee of $10 will cover the cost of the nude model.

Artists of all levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to enjoy 3 hours drawing time with the model every week. Artists are asked to bring their own supplies (paper, drawing medium, drawing board, and easel), however, several easels are available to rent on a first come first serve basis. An optional clothed-model night can be arranged for those who prefer a draped figure as well as for the younger crowd.

Each session will begin with short gesture drawings and will continue with 20-minute poses followed by a long 1-hour pose (divided into 20 minute increments to allow breaks for the model). Come practice and fine-tune your life-drawing skills at Firestorm.
