Join fellow Ashevillains (and the occasional traveling bard) for an evening of participatory performance and collaborative creativity. In our cozy cafe, you can share your skills as a songwriter, poet, comedian or other performance artist -- aspiring or accomplished.

Drop in to sign up at 7pm. The performance will kick off shortly afterwards and participants drink their first cup of coffee or tea on the house. We ask only that you share original works -- songs, poems and performances that you have created -- and not the work of others.

Firestorm Cafe & Books has hosted this bimonthly open mic on the first and third Tuesdays of each month since December 2008.
