Athens, GA author, Jordan A. Rothacker, reads from his new novel, a "micro-epic" called The Pit, and No Other Stories. A novella (110 pages) from Black Hill Press (a cooperative publisher), The Pit scales big as each chapter is set in a different time and place, written in a different style capturing a different trope of American literature. Through this intricately woven tapestry of a narrative, the American Dream and its values are reconsidered against a backdrop of capitalism and exploitation.
