Storm'in On The Mountains

A Mountain Justice Fundraising Party

In light of the recent coal ash spills, and in the spirit of love of music, a clean Appalachia, and a history of advocacy, Mountain Justice and Firestorm Cafe & Books are proud to present this benefit for scholarships to Mountain Justice’s 2014 Spring Break Rendezvous Action Camp.

Presentations by Mountain Justice and Clean Water for NC (a part of the Frack Free NC Alliance) will be interspersed with revolutionary spoken work, sing alongs, letter writing, a silent auction, and art for all ages! Saro Lynch, Kim Keyser, Lyndsey Anne and others will share stories of Appalachia and it’s people through ballad and rhyme.

Donations for Mountain Justice, which is working to provide clean water for the 100,000 people in West Virginia who still have toxic water, will be collected.
