Matt Sanders & Friends
Directly for the website:
"Singer and songwriter Matt Sanders grew up in the mountains of East Tennessee listening to artists like James Taylor and Billy Joel. At 14 years old he began playing guitar and writing music that evolved into his own folk rock style. Matt pulls inspiration from artists such as Amos Lee and Damien Rice, which is evident in his emotional, contemplative melodies. As a senior in High School, he was given the opportunity to record a single, “Regrets”, in Nashville Tennessee and fell in love with the recording process. In 2010, Matt recorded and released his first acoustic album, “Apathy Has Found Us Again”. Also in 2010 he found himself on the road with the country sensation The Band Perry as their guitar technician. With the taste of touring still fresh, Matt strives to play as often as possible showcasing his old and new material. Soon to come is his first full length, full band album."
