White Spaces
Notes On Race And Privilege For A (Pretty Darn) White Community
By Jack Fischer
White Spaces is an invitation to seek out our blindspots regarding the forces that influence our social spaces. For most white people in the culture of the U.S. there is a significant gap in awareness regarding how the dynamics of race and privilege operate in our society.
In an effort to help open up conversations in the greater Asheville community, Jack Fischer has created this booklet for other white people, and in the spirit of inquiry and justice invites us to educate ourselves.
