Not Charity

From the introduction: As a disabled person in 2026, I am frightened about my future. There are threats to my rights like Section 504 and Olmstead. Then there are threats to my healthcare. Currently, our government has made it clear that it does not want to pay for Medicaid. They want to use the taxpayer money that has been dedicated to it to be used elsewhere. When I am frightened by things, I like to look to history and learn why we have the things we do. At the same time, I like to share this with others so we can all understand why we have something and what happens when we no longer have it.
