Dinosaur Stories

DINOSAUR STORIES collects the three short graphic narratives that Ross originally authored for THE MESOZINE #1-3 (in 2020-2024).

These three dramas—"Fear the Oasis," "A Tarnished Reputation," and "Lord of this World"—are based on current science about prehistoric wildlife, including dinosaurs, other reptiles, and amphibians. The cover image depicts the giant frog Beelzebufo and the small theropod dinosaur Masiakasaurus sizing each other up; these animals co-star in the first story. The giant crocodylian Deinosuchus stars in "Lord of this World." Other dinosaurs featured in the comics include Oviraptor and Albertosaurs, and Spinosaurus and Ankylosaurus appear in pin-up illustrations.
