Hey parents! Wanna save money on new kids books? We're now collecting gently used children's books for Rural Organizing And Resilience (ROAR) in Madison County. For each book you bring in to donate we'll give you a discount on a *new* kids title! And your loved (but outgrown) book will be given to a kiddo or public school library in your local mountain community.

Each donated book gets you a 10% discount on one new middle grade, early reader, or picture book. Join our Community Sustainers Program and we'll make it 20%! Discounts do not stack and must be used on the day of your donation.

Rural Organizing and Resilience formed in Madison County, NC in the Spring of 2017 in response to the need for a rural voice working for all who call these mountains home. The organization works to strengthen connections and respect among all people in our mountain communities by countering systems of oppression through education, outreach, empowerment and mutual aid.
