Introducing Childcare at Select Events!

Introducing Childcare at Select Events!

May 27th, 2024

Our co-op is exploring the addition of childcare during upcoming events to increase accessibility for parents and engage young people with age-appropriate parallel programming! If you're considering attendingan event and would like to bring a kid who's more interested in crafting than conferencing, just let us know when you register. There's no cost and the more interest we get, the more likely we are to keep making childcare available!

For select events, we're able to offer creative activities to a limited number of kiddos, ages 5 and up, thanks to our friend and collaborator Simitri. Rather than being a place to warehouse kids while adults do the "important" work of learning and taking action, we believe that childcare can be a site of transformation and liberatory possibility. The anarchist bookstore should be a place for everyone, big and small!
