Recent Warren Wilson graduate Luna Scarano returns to Asheville to share a video presentation on the #OccupyWallStreet movement and the ongoing civil disobendience in NYC's financial district. Learn more about the use of consensus-based general assemblies by protestors and the violence of the police response. Drawing on her own arrest experience for "inciting a riot," Luna will expose the legal and media tactics being mobilized to silence dissent.

This video presentation will be followed by a discussion and brainstorming session in preparation for Saturday's occupation of Wall Street in downtown Asheville. Luna will also be giving a presentation at Warren Wilson College on Tuesday at 7pm in the Sage Cafe.
