Prairieland Benefit Zine Assembly

Help raise funds for political prisoners on The International Day of Solidarity with Antifascist Prisoners!

Join us for an afternoon of solidarity zine making and contempt for the government. Our co-op has already raised $7k (and counting!) for defendants in the Pairieland case by selling zine packets, but we need help assembling them. Each packet contains 15 pamphlets that prosecutors used as evidence to convict protesters of terrorism, along with letter writing materials for sending love and solidarity to those locked up. Bring your own booklet stapler, if you own one!

This event is followed by an antifascist film screening and dinner at 6pm.

The International Day of Solidarity with Antifascist Prisoners aims to break down borders and build an international response against fascism. IDSAP originated in 2014 as a Day of Solidarity with Jock Palfreeman—an Australian serving a 20-year sentence in Bulgaria for defending two Romani men from an attack by fascist football hooligans. Happily, Palfreeman has been granted parole after serving 11 years of his sentence, but there are still hundreds of others who remain imprisoned for standing up against fascism and hate.
