The Miracle of Mutual Aid

Hanukkah Celebration and Discussion

Jewish Voice for Peace Asheville invites community members to celebrate Hannukah and discuss solidarity with Palestine in 2025.

This is a facilitated discussion between community members about the past year and how to move forward as anti-zionists, and specifically anti-zionist Jews. The first hour or so will be dedicated to asking and responding to questions and the last hour will be prayers, menorah lighting (bring your own!), and a potluck in celebration of the last night of Hanukkah.

This event is also a fundraiser for the Gaza Soup Kitchen. If you eat, please donate!

Jewish Voice for Peace is the largest progressive Jewish anti-Zionist organization in the world, organizing a grassroots, multiracial, cross-class, intergenerational movement in solidarity with the Palestinian freedom struggle. instagram.com/jvp.asheville
