This workshop offers an interactive experience facilitated by two local healthcare professionals who will present their insights on both conventional and holistic approaches to healthcare. Participants will discover ways to embrace and enhance queerness throughout their healthcare experiences.

The workshop will address and dispel common myths surrounding queer health while examining safety and accessibility within the healthcare spectrum through group activities. Attendees will learn strategies for navigating a heteronormative healthcare system and explore what empowers individuals to pursue healing. The workshop will also discuss how to create a safe environment for accessing care in today's world. Topics will include queer medical history, queer sexual health, and spirituality. Participants will have the opportunity to share their personal experiences regarding coming out to healthcare providers and offer suggestions for fostering queerness in healthcare practices.
