ASWOP is a community coalition of local sex workers, service providers, and allies working to end violence and promote health among people who provide sex work.

This event will be a planning meeting for anyone who is interested in getting more involved in this coalition. It will be facilitated by Our VOICE staff and an active sex worker. While allies and service providers are welcome at this event, ASWOP strongly encourages active and former sex workers to come and lead the discussion.

While Our VOICE and different service providers are currently helping in facilitating this organization, the goal is to hand over the reins to sex workers completely to have a coalition for sex workers by sex workers. This meeting we will discuss future outreach events, goals and organizational structure, next steps in organizing efforts, and getting the word out about this work.
