This workshop centers around the idea of "Resilience" to go along with ACE (Adverse Childhood Experiences) summit at MAHEC (Mountain Area Health Education Center). The summit's goal is for:

"...attendees to develop practical strategies for their schools, organizations, communities, or agencies on how to assist clients/patients in understanding the intergenerational effects of trauma on the life span and how to assist the client/patient with stopping the intergenerational transmission of ACEs." 

The hope is to extend this message and information to non-summit attendees through community art shows, events, and workshops.
