Beer City Sisters General Membership Meeting
The Beer City Sisters are a mission house for the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. They are a 501c(3) non-profit group of non-religious, gender-blurred nuns on a mission to spread universal joy and expiate stigmatic guilt in all corners of society. The first order began in San Francisco in 1979 and later held the first ever fundraiser for HIV/AIDS research and education in 1982.
Today they continue the spirit of their founders by promoting awareness and raising funds for non-profit organizations and charities that benefit the community. Through radical self-expression, compassion, and education they seek to empower individuals of all races, genders, orientations, and ages to know that they are valued and loved as individuals of our society. They are educators, activists, promoters, counselors, and performers.
General membership meetings are held monthly to review old business, plan for new ventures, and address progress as a group and as individuals.
