This is the first half of a two-part workshop taught by Chloe, from a Western Herbalist and #QueerWitch perspective.

Part One: The New Moon in Aries

We will gather on the New Moon to talk about crafting herbal medicine in accordance with the Moon Phase and the Zodiac. Intentionally timing our medicine preparations can help us deepen our relationships with the herbs, and the cycles of nature. We will learn to prepare an herbal glycerite and let it macerate for six weeks until the next class, on the full moon in Scorpio. This is an herbal preparation made with vegetable glycerine, so it is alcohol-free. We'll be using the folk method!

$10 - 20 suggested donation, though nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. All funds raised and medicine made will go toward buidling a community apothecary and supporting the efforts of the Hawthorn Community Herb Collective.
