My Dog is My Home Curator's Talk
My Dog is My Home is a national organization dedicated to increasing housing and shelter access for homeless people with pets. The founder of the organization and the curator of the multi-media art exhibition of the same name will use photographs, paintings, and video to describe the relationship and the challenges faced by homeless animal guardians.
The presentation will begin in the cafe with a tour of the exhibit. The discussion will then move into the community room for an extended talk on programs from across the United States that have developed to meet the challenge of sheltering homeless people with companion animals.
