What is class privilege really and how do we talk about it? Why is class such a taboo subject anyway? How are class differences created and enforced and what do our own experiences have to do with that? What messages have we received? How have class differences been used historically to maintain wealth inequality? What does cross-class organizing look like? How can understanding class privilege deepen our participation in movements for social change? What would a world without class look like? This Resource Generation workshop will cover all the things your mother told you never to talk about (well, maybe not all of them…).

Resource Generation is a non profit organization that works towards the redistribution of wealth, class, land and power. A world that is racially and economically just in which wealth, land and power are shared. We help organize young people with wealth and class privilege in the U.S. to become transformative leaders working towards economic redistribution.
