A Revolutionary Mothering Workshop

In 1977 black feminist poet June Jordan wrote "Love is lifeforce" as the opening sentence of a lecture she gave on the creative spirit and children's literature. The new book Revolutionary Mothering: Love on the Front Lines is the first book to have published June Jordan's speech in its entirety.
This workshop, facilitated by Alexis Pauline Gumbs and Alba Onofrio will be an immersion in queer feminist of color love practices, allowing you to dive into the ways life-force flows in your community and facilitating you through the process of creating a works of art, poetry and performance together.
