Open Umbrella Collective has been providing direct abortion doula services for the past 5 years! This year they are stepping back from direct service and stepping into a "Year of Visibility" -- a year of community events and actions aimed at amplifying the dialogue around reproductive justice and abortion in our community.

Join us for their kickoff event! "This is an Emergency" is a print portfolio on Reproductive Justice and Gender Rights. Created in 2012, the images and messages from the prints are only more relevant in today’s political climate.

This project brings together over a dozen voices from people most affected by these issues- women, queer identified, and transgender artists. During this inaugural OUC event there will be a silent auction of the prints, music, and an opportunity to come together as a community to celebrate the protection of safe, legal and accessible abortion care. All funds raised will go towards OUC programming and the Carolina Abortion Fund.
