The Asheville Figure Drawing Network hosts a non-instructed, drop-in drawing session with a live model. The suggested donation of $10 will cover the cost of the nude model.

Artists of all levels, from beginner to advanced, are welcome to enjoy 3 hours drawing time with the model twice a week. Artists are asked to bring their own supplies (paper, drawing medium, drawing board, and easel), however, several easels are available to rent on a first come first serve basis. An optional clothed-model night can be arranged for those who prefer a draped figure as well as for the younger crowd.

Each session will begin with short gesture drawings and will continue with 20-minute poses followed by a long 1-hour pose (divided into 20 minute increments to allow breaks for the model).Come practice and fine-tune your life-drawing skills at Firestorm.
