Due to the ongoing pandemic, Firestorm is not open for walk-in traffic but continues to operate in a reduced and modified capacity.

Bookstore Operations

While it is impossible to recreate the magic of browsing a bookstore in-person, we have put a lot of work into our website to ensure that virtually everything available from our co-op is represented online. We also continue to special order titles for individuals who are seeking books that we do not have in stock.

We offer fast and affordable shipping or curbside pick-up on all orders. Local pick-ups are available every day except Sunday, from 10am to 2pm. We are sometimes available later in the afternoon, so feel free to call the store if you are in our neighborhood after 2pm.

Community Events

Since March, we have canceled all in-store events and are not currently booking future live events. Nevertheless, we are hosting, organizing, and/or facilitating a limited number of online events—including both regular online meetups, book clubs, and author discussions. You can find these events listed in our calendar.

Please note that all virtual events require pre-registration. In general this means that you must email venue@firestorm.coop to receive event information. We greatly appreciate it when people register at least 24 hours beforehand. Our virtual events do not require any special software and can be attended using any device with the latest Chrome, Firefox, or Edge web browser.
