Give Another Chance to (slightly) Aging Books from Firestorm by bringing them back for 25% in store credit—they'll live again in our discount section, bringing joy and/or wisdom to new readers. Keep circulating loved books for a more sustainable world, and help Firestorm increase its inventory of affordable titles!
We ONLY accept:
- Books in our web catalog with the mark on the product page (for example, see the accompanying screenshot for The Dispossessed);
- Clean and undamaged books (i.e. "as new" or "very good" condition);
- Five books per person per day
How It Works
- Bring up to five books you previously bought from us (as long as they are clean, undamaged, and in our web catalog with the mark, we can also accept books you got from other places).
- Firestorm staff will check that the books are eligible for our buy-back program.
- For any eligible book, we will give you a gift card with 25% of the price printed (or stickered) on the book. You can use the gift card right away, or use it any time for any product in our store!
Evaluating books may take time. We appreciate your patience as we try this new practice. You also have the option to donate books to local projects such as Asheville Prison Books!
